Trinity Art Show 2019: Statements

Art in the contemporary moment has urgency. Unconstrained and undefined, it can be a vehicle to address contention in our personal identities, sociopolitical issues, ideologies, technology, as well as culture. Let’s have a conversation.

For our 15th anniversary, our curatorial team of the 2019 Trinity Art Show invites viewers to negotiate this quintessential uncertainty and 🅱️oundless potential. This year's show will also feature interactive curatorial installations inspired by MOCA's Fall 2018 Exhibition of Hiba Abdallah and Justin Langlois's "Rehearsing Disagreement". (https://moca.ca/rehearsing-disagreement-programs-2018/). Join us on an exploration of what it means to live in the contemporary moment and how it manifests within the historical space of Seeley Hall.

Curated by Ally Lu & Jenny Qian, with assistance from the 2019 executive: Samantha Arpas, Angela Gu, Sophie Srebot, Sarina Wong, Wend Yasen, and Vail Zerr.

Admission is free. Opening Reception will be catered with a live soundscape by Elias Williams and complimentary coat check.
