The Christian Performing Arts Centre presents the 28th annual Toronto Passion Play, a production that has already been seen by more than 400,000 people since its debut in 1991. One of the longest-running Easter theatrical productions in the GTA, The Toronto Passion Play will feature an incredible cast of over 80 actors, singers, and dancers, as well as dazzling lights, sensational scenery, special effects, and a live orchestra that will take your breath away. Toronto Passion Play storyline depicts the events from the point of view of a thief and an audacious young woman who are forever changed by encountering the mysterious man from Galilee. The spectacular musical production is sure to delight audiences of all ages. With more than 15,000 annual attendees, The Toronto Passion Play has become a tradition, with most shows experiencing capacity crowds. A life-changing, not-to-be-missed event, this year’s production includes five shows running on Easter weekend, from April 19 –21.
