Toronto Jazz Fest
Mark your calendars - the Toronto Jazz Festival returns June 20-29, celebrating its 38th year with 10 days of FREE outdoor performances alongside ticketed shows featuring some of the best local and international jazz artists.
From June 20 to 29, venues across the city will pulse with music, culture, and community as Toronto reaffirms its place as one of North America’s most vibrant music cities, continuing the Fest’s commitment to highlighting the very best of local and international talent.
This year’s Festival promises 10 unforgettable days of jazz in all its forms —from jazz standards and blues to funk, soul and Afro Jazz — reflecting the depth and diversity of the genre and the rich cultural tapestry of the city itself. The Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood will once again be the heart of the Festival with the OLG Village offering free outdoor performances on stage in the idyllic Village of Yorkville Park, creating a vibrant, accessible space for fans of all ages to come together and enjoy live music.
Sidewalk Sessions presented by OLG will bring music directly to the streets, turning the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood’s sidewalks into spontaneous stages where passersby can discover some of Toronto's most engaging musicians.
This year’s Sounds Like Toronto series shines a spotlight on homegrown talent. This curated lineup celebrates musicians who are not only building on the legacy of jazz but reshaping it through the lens of Toronto’s multicultural identity. From Waleed Kush Afro-Jazz to Danae Olano to Lavender Town, Alex Pangman and Jeremy Ledbetter, audiences will get to hear why jazz made in Toronto sounds like nowhere else in the world.
