Toronto Early Music Players Organization workshop coached by recorder virtuoso, Vincent Lauzer.
The Toronto Early Music Players Organization (TEMPO) is a registered non-profit that promotes the appreciation of early music and provides an opportunity for amateur musicians to play together under the guidance of professional music teachers and performers. Our members play recorders, viols, Renaissance flutes, and other early instruments.
Once a month on a Sunday from September to May, we hold afternoon workshops, led by an early music performer or teacher.
On October 18th, we are pleased to host the well-known Montreal based recorder virtuoso, Vincent Lauzer, to lead us, in a program entitled « All about Bach! »
A workshop dedicated to the music of the great Johann Sebastian Bach—a true titan of the Baroque era.
The program features chorales, a fantasia, a suite, and a concerto, offering an overview of his multifaceted talents as a composer. See our website (https://tempotoronto.net/ ) for more details of the session and information on how to become a member.
