Pandora, Piaf, and Paris is a transformative experience that combines Edith Piaf’s music with a stunning performance by Canadian vocalist Pandora Topp. First introduced by the Toronto Concert Orchestra in 2014, this TCO bespoke program is completely reimagined for the 2024 Symphony in the City season. TCO paints the musical backdrop of Paris from Piaf’s time, as Topp skillfully weaves Piaf’s songs with emotional insights into Piaf’s life journey. We explore music from various genres, including the studio of Nadia Boulanger at the Paris Conservatoire.
