Join us for a demonstration on how to build and construct mounds for growing methods! Participants will learn how to shape and construct mounded soil in preparation for planting.

The first half of the event will be physical mound preparation. The second portion of the workshop will be placement and planting of corn, bean, and squash. Participants will learn the proper spacing, placement and the benefits that each crop provides for each other.

There will be a break and discussion circle before planting the seeds to talk more about the story of the Three Sisters and their significance.

Workshop limited to 10 participants.

NOTE: This will be an active workshop involving digging, shovelling and pushing wheelbarrows.
