The Unearthly Garden: An Exhibit of Fictional Flora and Fungi

Join us for an exhibit of botanical curiosities from Earth to the far-flung fields of other worlds. Botany is the branch of biology concerned with the study of plants. It has also historically included the study of fungi.

The fields of science fiction, fantasy and horror have uncovered many new plants and fungi. This exhibit explores organisms from the carnivorous Triffids to the mushroom-folk of Ambergris.

Free. All are welcome.

Located in the https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/merril/">Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation & Fantasy, on the 3rd floor of the https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/lillianhsmith/">Lillian H. Smith Branch.
