The Song Shul - Chassidic Shabbat

The Song Shul invites you to join us for a beautiful Chassidic Shabbat

Service, celebrating the joyful and poignant Niggunim of the Hasidim of Eastern Europe. These intoxicating melodies take us back to a time gone by!

The renowned Cantor Simon Spiro and Aliza Spiro lead the service with the Toronto Festival Singers, recognized as the “Finest synagogue choir in North America,” creating a freilich mood with Chassidic niggunim throughout the service.

Their custom-written, a cappella vocal arrangements and signature blend enhance our musical prayers, offering a unique Shabbat experience. We encourage you to raise your voices and sing along.
