The MUFF Society TO: Legally Blonde

Reception/Photobooth: 8:00 PM

Film: 9:00 PM

Tickets: $10!!!!!!

This October MUFF is taking you to Harvard Law School. What, like it’s hard? Okay, so maybe Harvard looks a little more like the Carlton Cinema, but hey, it’s a lot easier to get to.

It was fifteen years ago, in 2001, that Legally Blonde first came into our lives. It was born from a novel of the same name written by Amanda Brown and penned into a screenplay by Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah (10 Things I Hate About You, She’s The Man, Ella Enchanted, the upcoming Expendabelles). Reese Witherspoon stars as Elle, a popular sorority president and fashion merchandising major who has big plans to win back her ex-boyfriend by becoming more “serious” (that is, becoming a law student at Harvard).

A story of having faith in yourself, finding your self-worth, and the importance of hair care knowledge, this screening is one you don’t want to miss. So, take a break from studying, make sure your Bend and Snap is on point, and for the love of god leave your last season Prada shoes at home.

Join us in the lobby at 8:00 PM for photobooth fun, dancing suitable for any Ricky Martin music video, and limited-edition Legally Blonde buttons for sale!

Our Mini MUFF selection this month is the local short film CHEESE, which was written and directed by Hannah Cheesman and produced by her production company Aberrant Pictures (which she owns with fellow producer Mackenzie Donaldson).

A big thank you to our MUFF Friends & sponsors of this event: Carlton Cinema, The Beguiling, The Candy Bar, and Condom Shack. Check our Facebook event closer to the event for more sponsor announcements.
