The Moth Mainstage

Join us for an unforgettable evening of true stories told live as The Moth Mainstage returns to Toronto for one night only. This signature event brings together a curated selection of storytellers from Canada and around the world to share bold, funny, and heartfelt tales.

The Mainstage is the quintessential Moth experience, a two-act show where the storytellers and a notable host share true personal stories, without notes.

Don’t miss “New York’s hottest and hippest literary ticket” (The Wall Street Journal) in town for one night only.

This year's esteemed storytellers include Ali Hassan (host of CBC's Canada Reads and Laugh Out Loud), and Nick Ullett (six appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show). They are joined by veteran host Peter Aguero, who's hosted Moth events since 2007, Qurat Das, a Canadian Poetry Slam National Champion, Kate Gies, a Toronto-based writer and educator, and Connie Shin, a raconteur hailing from Brooklyn.

Last year's event sold out, so book your tickets soon.

TIFA Presents 2025 Season is generously supported by Presenting Donors Beth Nowers and Jack Curtin.
