We have heard so many great things about this band, that we had to go out and bring them in for a special Friday Night show! Playing St Louis Soul, Funk and Blues, you really have to check out this talented band with some really cool originally music and performing some unique covers!

Born from the dim street lights and sweat soaked stages of the ever evolving music scene in Toronto, the Mayday has created that blend of raw and gritty edge with a dose of blue-eyed soul. There is no doubt that you can hear Matt Morgan’s St. Louis, Missouri upbringing when he takes the mic, as he speaks of ill-fated love stories that resonate with anyone who has ever had their heart broken. With Yash Presswalla on bass, Gareth Parry on lead guitar, Matt Burns on drums, and Sebastian Buccioni on keys, the Mayday is a quartet of top level musicians whose accomplishments and session work is articulated in the tightness of the band’s sound.

Jazz influenced funk rhythms and soulful harmonies make the Mayday’s signature sound, which crosses genres and generations.
