The Mahones were founded in 1990 by Finny McConnell, as a one-off for a St. Patrick's Day party. Inspired by the enthusiastic response of the crowd, the Dublin-born McConnell decided to make the band a full-time project.

The Rivoli was a regular stop during The Mahones’s formative years. They would develop the sound that would put them in the vanguard of the Celtic punk movement inside the walls of the iconic Queen West venue. The band quickly became a global touring sensations alongside their contemporaries , The Dropkick Murphys and The Pogues.

The March tour is in support of the band’s twelfth studio album ‘Jameson Street’. The effort is packed with positivity and good vibes. “Jameson Street is meant to make you feel like you’re having a night out,” according to McConnell. “No politics, no religion, just good times, and everybody having fun. Unity is the underlying message.”
