Toronto’s West Queen West area was known for its legacy as a gallery district. Unfortunately increasing rental rates and gentrification in the area forced many galleries and arts organizations to transition to other parts of the city. Since the exodus of the majority of galleries and cultural touchstones from the West Queen West Area, a vibrant art scene has re-emerged from the ashes of this formerly well-known arts district, with several diverse galleries and organizations setting down roots in the newly established Lisgar Park and surrounding area (spanning Dufferin to Ossington along Queen Street West).

As a way of celebrating our neighbourhood and the vibrant art scene within, we are excited to be hosting for the second time, art lovers and artists from around the city and beyond. Stop by at participating institutions for thoughtfully curated programming and events!
