Celebrating the release of their newest album, Aakuluk. Recorded at Blue Rodeos Woodshed Studio in Toronto,this unique recording is a portrait of a changing culture and changing life-styles in Canadas far north. Its also a record to dance to, laugh with, and think about.
Aakuluk, the new album, is a powerful collection of songs, and may well lead to the bands involvement in major summer festivals across Canada. The Jerry Cans is the most popular band in northern Canada, and the music they make, frequently compared to The Clash, the Pogues and The Waterboys, is universal and reaches surprised, dancing and cheering audiences wherever they play.
