The InSitu Multi-Arts Festival: The Lost Edition

Mississauga’s only multi-arts festival, The Lakeview Village InSitu Multi-Arts Festival, will return next week from March 21 to 23, 2024, at the historic Small Arms Inspection Building. Featuring the works from over 600 Mississauga-based artists, this award-winning festival invites the community to immerse themselves in a world of captivating performances, immersive installations, and community collaboration.

The Lakeview Village InSitu Multi-Arts Festival 2024: The Lost Edition will create an in-person experience for audiences as they explore visual art, installations, dance, performance, and music. InSitu 2024: The Lost Edition will build on the award-winning digital version of InSitu2021: The Lost Museum, thelostmuseum.ca. A recipient of the 2021 Web Excellence and Ontario Art Educator of the Year awards, The Lost Museum imagined a mysterious place where all things lost, forgotten, discarded or abandoned found their way.

The Festival is an immersive experience where physical and dance theater artists embody the roles of Lost Museum 'employees’, beckoning you to explore extraordinary collections within the Small Arms Inspection Building North and unfinished South wings. Each evening will feature an array of captivating performances, including dance, spoken word, and musical performances, from The Dance Art Institute, Cawthra Park Secondary School, Blue Heel Dance Studio, Rosedale Heights School of Arts, Passion for Parkinsons, The Savoy Band, and many others.

The Festival runs March 21 to 23, 2024, from 6:30pm-11:00pm daily at Mississauga’s Small Arms Inspection Building at 1352 Lakeshore Road East.
