The iDREAM Awards

Join iDREAM on August 23, 2025 as we celebrate excellence, elevate BIPOC voices, and deliver $5 million in media across five groundbreaking categories.

The inaugural iDREAM Awards, co-hosted by Jermain Franklin (TSN) and Kim Sullivan (APTN), feature performances by alt pop-rock Indigenous artist Natasha Fisher, Rapper and producer Kardinal Offishall will also perform a DJ set as a part of the Sankofa Day celebration during the award ceremony, all inclusive Beer served complimentary of Canada's Premier Beer, Steam Whistle Brewing, Wine & Spirits complimentary of several brands from Corby Spirits Limited, 500 gifts for guests courtesy of LuluLemon and much, much more!

The iDREAM Racial Equity Award in Media is a national initiative recognizing exceptional Black, Indigenous, and all People of Colour across five categories: Art, Entrepreneurship, Film, Music, and Sport.

Each award includes a transformative $1 MILLION DOLLAR media campaign to elevate the recipient’s voice and story across Canada.

This year, iDREAM will present its awards live during the official rebranding of Dundas Square to Sankofa Square.

With major performances, celebrity appearances, and full billboard support surrounding the square, the event will be broadcast live onsite and beyond.
