The Great Whisky Heist: A Mystery Scavenger Hunt
Step back into the Roaring Twenties to solve a century-old mystery in one of Toronto's most captivating locations: the Distillery District. The Great Whisky Heist Mystery Scavenger Hunt challenges you and your team of sleuths (2–6 players per team) to unravel a tale of thievery, deceit, and lost fortunes. A huge shipment of whisky was stolen from the historic Gooderham & Worts Distillery and disappeared without a trace. Your mission is to piece together newly discovered evidence, clues from history, and excerpts from a local journalist of the time Ernest Hemingway’s diary to determine who stole the valuable goods, who profited, and exactly how the entire plot went down.
The scavenger hunt takes place entirely within the pedestrian walkways of the Distillery District, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the history of the area. The event runs for a total of 2 hours, including a 1.5-hour hunt and time for introduction and conclusion.
Tickets are 39.99 + HST per person. The meeting place is in front of the Go Tours/Urban Capers office at 30 Gristmill Lane near the Big Red Heart.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Click the link to learn more about tickets, how to prepare, directions, FAQs, and more!
