The Great Canadian Kilt Skate

A uniquely Canadian celebration of Scottish heritage: the Great Canadian Kilt Skate sees outdoor parties taking place across Canada, where skaters take to the ice in kilts, tartans and other Scottish regalia.

Now in it's fourth year, the Kilt Skate sees tartan-dressed skaters take to the ice in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Saskatoon and Alexandria. Skating is free, and hot chocolate and cake is provided. Just come to the party with a spirit of Scottish fun and fortitude, and wear Canada’s favourite colour – tartan!
