The E.W.o.C. Project : Community Mural Celebration

The E.W.o.C. Project (Equity for Women of Colour) is celebrating a community art revitalization initiative in Toronto's east end. The project is in partnership with Toronto Community Housing and TakingItGlobal, to expand the visible representation of Women of Colour in public art.

The E.W.o.C. Project has created a series of continuous murals at 10 Boultbee and is holding and unveiling at the Recreation Room on the ground floor of 10 Boultbee. The incredible pieces stretch over 90 ft long and depict Women of Colour who are activists, change-makers, and re-imaginings of classic heroines.

Date: Saturday October 6th

Time: 1-4pm

Location : Recreation Room on ground floor at 10 Boultbee

Note: You can most easily access the Recreation Room from the back of the building - this route will lead you past the wonderful artwork, to the back door of the room.
