It can be said The Diodes were ground zero for punk in Toronto.

In 1977, they created Canada's first punk club, The Crash'n'Burn,

which ignited the Queen St. alternative scene.

In October, 1977, their debut lp

was released worldwide on the CBS label.

In celebration of their 40th Anniversary, the first 3 Diodes lps are being re-released on vinyl both individually and in a limited edition box set with a bonus lp of rarities that includes a previously unheard live track recorded at The Horseshoe.

This will be an emotional and powerful evening of rock'n'roll.
