It's time for the second edition of the Coach House Book Club! On Monday, March 30, join poets Andrew Faulkner Need Machine and Mathew Henderson The Lease in our cozy coffeeroom as they chat about each other's books, writing poetry, sharing their work, and whatever else comes up during the evening!

All are welcome to join us, from fledgling poets to CH pals to die hard with a vengeance Andrew and Mathew fans. What better way to head into April, aka National Poetry Month, than by enjoying drinks and snacks with two of Canada's youngest and brightest poets? Giddyup!

Haven't read Need Machine or The Lease? Oh boy, are you in for a treat. You don't have to have read the books or own respective copies to come hang out with us on the 30th, but just so you know both books are currently discounted by 20 in both print and e until the end of March. They'll also be available at the meeting!

'After reading Mr. Faulkner's incredible book something happened. I began to feel bad for the person I was before reading his poems, I felt bad that I had been living without the joy and wonder of this book for so long. Faulkner's poems illuminate the world we live in, engage in its humour and strangeness, its sadness and bravery. The poet writes: "I've strapped dynamite to your heart / and jammed a bit between your teeth. How bored you must have been/ before you met me." And he's right. Attendance is free for our Book Club meetings! We just ask that you RSVP on Eventbrite so we know how many drinks and snacks to get. Speaking of which, a small PWYC donation towards the cost of food and booze will be gratefully accepted. We hope everyone can come!
