The Artist Circle at Assembly Park

The Artist Circle is open to the public and will be an exciting networking and social event for YRAC members, local artists, arts organizations, and tourism stakeholders from around the region! Hosted in collaboration with Assembly Park and the York Region Arts Council, the event will take place at Assembly Park on February 28, 2023, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The evening will feature performances and exhibitions by YRAC members and collaborators, guest speakers, and a chance to network with fellow members of our arts community! The Artist Circle guest speakers will share insight into creating community through art-driven events via a panel discussion.

Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

6:15 pm-6:45 pm In Conversation with Kevin Ker, Heather Cook and Roshanak Jaberi, facilitated by Monica Pain

Join us as they share their process of creating community through art-driven events. Learn tips for collaborating with municipalities and local businesses, tackling sponsorships, fundraising and volunteer recruitment, and how it all connects to community engagement.

General Admission is $15 per person for non-members and free for YRAC members. This admission fee also registers you to become a "Friend of YRAC” for one year.
