Teen Ravine’s Nick Rose and Dan Griffin want to get close but not too close; a sentiment that may well be the hallmark of a generation’s struggle with the desire for, and fear of, intimacy. The two began collaborating from their apartment studios in Toronto in the spring of 2016, exploring themes of emotional alienation through the obsessive intimacy of bedroom recordings while aspiring to the west-coast pop/R&B of the late 70s and early 80s.

The duo's self-titled full length LP was released to overwhelming support and acclaim by music publications such as DIY, The Line of Best Fit, and The 405 among others. Noisey (Vice) dubbed the debut "Sophisti-Pop" and NY Magazine's Vulture called it "just so right". On August 2, Teen Ravine will be releasing their debut LP available for the first time on 12" Vinyl.
