Technology's Role in Human Evolution

Navigate the role of technology in human development. Exploration includes robotics, human-machine hybrids, artificial intelligence, avatars, and the Singularity. We will assess whether this is part of the future for humanity, and why we must work with machines at all as part of our evolution. The workshop will include a background in mythology as a foundation for understanding technological advancements, the subject of electricity and evil, consciousness and soul development, and so much more. Movement and artistic activities will be incorporated to support the digestion of information.

Lead by Andrew Linnell, president of the Boston branch of the Anthroposophical Society, member of the School for Spiritual Science, and faculty of the Village University of Concord. He has spoken at branches and libraries through the States and abroad on many subjects from Quantum Physics, to Christian Mysticism, to Art History.
