On June 11, 2017, Russian-Canadians are going to present an annual festival Taste of Russia as a gift to the 150th Anniversary of Canada. Russia is more than any country in the world similar to Canada: its vastness, climate, diversity, indigenous perseverance and ingenuity are so true for both countries. In 2017, Russian-Canadians would love to showcase our contribution, our love and our devotion to Canada.

Various ethnic bands and ensembles, modern dance clubs and performers, artisans and merchants will unite under ‘one roof’ to present the Eastern-European cultural experience to Canadians. To demonstrate cuisine of multiple ethnicities living in Russia, we will bring restaurants, caterers and food vendors with flavours characteristic to peoples inhabiting Russia.
