Tash Lorayne will be performing at her “Light That Lives” album launch on June 17 at 7pm at Lula Lounge, located at 1585 Dundas Street West. Door open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm. $10 cover at the door.

Tash Lorayne, a Toronto-based jazz and blues vocalist who will be performing in this year’s Toronto Jazz Festival. In the past, she has performed as a backing vocalist for Divine Brown, Ammoye and Jacksoul, and has toured with Bryan Adams, Beenie Man, Gyptian, Maxi Priest and countless others. In support of these artists, Tash has performed live on Canada AM, CTV Playlist and a live broadcast of the Juno Awards. For her upcoming debut album “Light That Lives,” Tash has collaborated with accomplished singer/songwriter Stephen Weiman to create an album that effortlessly blends blues, jazz, soul and folk.
