Sunday Best Opening Performance
Come to the AGO to celebrate the opening of Sunday Best with an evening dedicated to Black style and sartorial innovation. Canadian label Greta Constantine led by designer Kirk Pickersgill, celebrates 20 years in fashion with a special museum fashion show. Providing soundtrack is a Toronto-based gospel choir singing live, after which we invite you to wrap up the night dancing to our DJ. Included in General Admission.
Greta Constantine is an accessible luxury line of ready-to-wear womenswear based in Toronto, Canada. The label was founded in 2006 by Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong, and the name Greta Constantine is derived from combining the name of Stephen's mother, Greta, with that of Kirk's grandfather, Constantine. Now designed by Pickersgill, the collection is available in over 40 points of sale worldwide spanning 15 countries, in addition to online. The team works together in their Toronto-area studio -- conceptualizing, exploring, and challenging the fashions of today for the women of tomorrow.
