Join PH1 Studios for an intimate still life drawing session featuring an eclectic scene illuminated entirely by candlelight. Explore line, form, and shadow in this warm, low-lit atmosphere designed to inspire close observation and creativity.

Perfect for all skill levels, this guided class invites you to slow down and connect with the timeless art of still life drawing—through flickering light and expressive linework.

What You'll Learn

- How to observe and simplify objects in a still life composition

- Techniques for capturing light and shadow in low lighting

- Foundations of proportion, depth, and contour

- You'll be working with pencil and charcoal, exploring expressive mark making.

What’s Included

- All art materials (paper, pencils, charcoal, etc.)

- 3 hours of guided instruction in a unique, candlelit setting

- A finished still life drawing to take home

- A cozy, inspiring atmosphere inside the historic 401 Richmond arts building
