Our production manager Adam Bradley is becoming a strong curatorial voice in Toronto from his work with Wavelength and All Toronto’s Parties. This marks the first time he has applied his programming aesthetic to the Music Gallery. He has assembled an eclectic bill of sputtering electronics and high-concept fun.

Still Boys is a live-action multi-media performance. Members of a well-groomed, and carefully crafted boy band have been transformed into an eye, lips, tongue and an unknown substance. They have gathered on stage to entertain, delight, and devour audiences everywhere. They will perform such classics as “Still Boys”, “Put Your Hands On Your Lap”, “Come Out Of My Mouth” and the new hit, “Casey”, in honor of the late great radio host, Casey Kasem. Still Boys will culminate their 2014 Pop-Avant performance with the introduction of a new member, a specially constructed digestive tract for audience disposal. Enjoy!

Zoo Owl is a dark electronic pop talent shrouded in mystery. His glowing ‘photoreceptor’ goggles coupled with an ever-evolving, visually stunning (and perplexing) stage show amount to true spectacle.

Montreal’s Bataille Solaire (alternatively the guitarist for Jef Barbara) opens the evening with phantasmagoric, hallucinatory synth-scapes that blossom kaleidoscopically like the soundtracks of ’70’s science fiction cinema.

Inter-dimensional rifts will be opened as lines blur between real and unreal: the fourth wall of the universe will be challenged!
