About the Event

Spark Dance (formerly Spark Jam) celebrates one full year of live improvised music and open dance floors. What began as a small experiment has grown into a beloved Toronto community gathering where musicians and dancers create together in real time.

No DJ. No set list. No choreography. Just a collective of live musicians responding directly to the energy of the dancers on the floor. The band watches, listens, and lets every sway, stomp, and stillness shape what comes next.

The result is a dance floor that feels more connected, more intimate, and more alive — because your presence isn't just welcome, it's essential.
