Solstice Reset

The plans are all made. The weekends are all booked up. All of a sudden you blink... and it's August. Sound familiar?

Every year it seems like summer flies by in this city and we've had just about enough of it. If summer wants a race, then we're just going to sit right down under a tree. Consider this a protest of sorts we're taking back Monday... Monday, June 20th to be exact.

Whatever your plan for Summer Solstice this year, Camp Reset invites you to Trinity Bellwoods Park for the longest day of the year. We intend to soak up all the daylight. You heard us... We're making this little holiday official.

Yes, we know you have work. And yes, Mondays are the worst. But isn't that the point? In this race through life, isn't it nice to put your foot down somewhere and demand the world slow its roll for a hot minute? Surely you can get to the park by 3pm for a little play, good tunes, and self-care.

And if you can't, don't worry... we'll wait for you. We wouldn't leave you behind. Make your way over when the clock strikes "5". After all, there will be fire spinning! And music! And a tea party! We're even bringing costumery for all you self-expressive folk though you're welcome to bring some too!.

And just for good measure... so that noooooobody can steal our little summer moment back... we're shutting off our phones and leaving them that way until long after the sun goes down. Think of it as a detox from the grind.

Better yet, let's call it a "reset".

See you in the park!

queen st. side... look for the ridiculousness
