SMASH 2016: Instant Classic

On Tuesday June 21, 2016, The Gardiner Museum Young Patrons Circle, co-chaired by Michael Liebrock and James Temple, will host SMASH, a night of art and experimentation masterminded by Art Director, Justin Broadbent. Interactive art installations inspired by the night's theme, Instant Classic, will take over the Museum's loft-like third-floor space, playing with the tension between the classical and the experimental, the timeless and the immediate. SMASH will feature the city's hottest young artists and DJs, as well as innovative cuisine by Food Dudes, coming together in a mash up of high art and pop culture.

Justin Broadbent, who previously art directed the AGO's Massive Party, was recently named by blogTO as one of "10 up and coming artists you should know."

Tickets go on sale April 12 at 12 pm and include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and contemporary art. Purchase online or by phone at 416.586.8080.
