Sips for Scraps: Celebrate Earth Day with Metalogics and Street Brew Coffee
In honour of Earth Month, Toronto-based scrap metal recycler Metalogics is bringing sustainability straight to the community, with a little help from one of the city’s favourite coffee pros.
On Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Metalogics is teaming up with Street Brew’s Caitlin Campbell for a pop-up at Trinity Bellwoods, where visitors can score free coffee (while supplies last) — with a sustainable twist.
Instead of paying, guests are encouraged to bring along recyclable metal items to, helping give everyday materials a second life through Metalogics’ responsible processing.
But this isn’t just a drop-off. Throughout the day, collected materials will become part of a live, on-site installation, visually tracking how much scrap the community contributes, with the goal of filling the entire structure by the end of the event.
What to bring:
Think small household metals and e-waste like pop cans, cellphones, tools, bike parts, car parts, sports equipment, and more.
Whether you're decluttering or just in it for a coffee, it’s an easy way to take part in something sustainable — and see the impact build in real time.
