SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival
SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival is Canada’s premier a cappella festival (singing without instruments). Held every year in May, SING! presents a week of outstanding concerts featuring the human voice. We bring together thousands of professional singers (Canadian and international), students, teachers, divas and in-the-shower belters.

1. SING! in the Clubs: Art Battle

SING! and Art Battle collaborate once again to bring you a night of Beatboxing and live competitive painting. Featuring Canadian Beatbox Champion Scott Jackson (Canada’s Got Talent Finalist, NBA halftime shows). Join us for an epic art showdown, the last one of the year in Toronto! Creativity knows no bounds! Watch as masterful artists craft stunning masterpieces in just 20 minutes per round. Be part of the decision-making process and vote for the ultimate champion. And don't miss your chance to own a piece of the action with the silent auction of all original works!
2. SING! Free: Preview event

Our annual free outdoor concert in the heart of Toronto, featuring a variety of vocal groups and styles. This year will feature FreePlay, City Choir, Peterborough Pop Ensemble, and more!
3. SING! Free: Outdoor Concerts
Location: College Park
Date: Thursday May 21, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00pm
For the first time ever, SING! brings free outdoor concerts to College Park at Yonge and College, featuring 2 hours of eclectic vocal music.
4. SING! in Concert: Countermeasure - One More Spin
Location: Paradise Theatre
Date: Friday, May 22, Doors 7pm, Show 7:30pm
After sixteen years of globetrotting, collaborating, recording, and general merrymaking, Countermeasure announces their final concert. Join the group for a landmark celebration of music, memories, and friendship - drawing from audience favourites and deep cuts.

5. SING! Music Business Summit: Industry Roundtable Discussions
Date: Saturday, May 23 - TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning
This is a unique opportunity to connect closely with experts from many aspects of the music industry. Attendees will sign up for 15-minute slots to discuss their own questions and ideas. Meetings take place with a small group seated around a table and are on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early to sign up for the people you want to meet. Building a career in music? 6. SING! and Learn: Songwriting
DATE: Saturday May 23 at 4pm - Royal Conservatory of Music
In this workshop, Aaron Jensen—musical director/composer for Schitt’s Creek and collaborator with Grammy and JUNO award-winning artists—shares his creative process and gives you step-by-step advice on writing your own songs. It is perfect for anyone getting ready to dive in, or practicing songwriters looking for more inspiration and tools.

7. SING! Canadian A Cappella Championships

9. SING! Pass the Mic Night

This event invites all 2026 Championship applicants and finalists, along with their friends and family, to gather at the Royal Ontario Museum’s Signy & Cléophée Eaton Theatre for a relaxed, non-competitive evening of music. Ensembles take turns “passing the mic” to share a song, celebrating community, connection, and the joy of a cappella.

10. Great North Beatbox Festival

Beatbox Canada and SING! present the Great North Beatbox Festival, the largest celebration of beatboxing in North America! Bringing together the Canadian Beatbox Championships, Great North Battle and All from the Mouth Showcase competition for the first time in one weekend.

11. SING! and Learn: The Real Group presents Sing with Confidence

Step into your voice with confidence in this fun and welcoming workshop led by members of Swedish vocal legends The Real Group. Open to all ages and experience levels, this session is designed for all levels of singers looking to strengthen their presence and trust in their own sound.

12. SING! In Concert: SING! with Pride

Experience the world-class vocal artistry of The Real Group, the legendary Swedish quintet that redefined a cappella. Blending jazz, pop, and Nordic choral music, they create a "voice-only" sound so rich you’ll forget there are no instruments on stage.
Presented as an official Pride Toronto Major Cultural event, this performance celebrates the power of harmony, community, and creative expression. Also featuring opening group Singing Out Choir, and a special presentation of the SING! Toronto Legacy Award to Heather Bambrick.
