Friends of Music at St. Thomas’s hosts Toronto’s new professional choir in concert. Silver Thread Chamber Choral Ensemble presents a program of favourite works – some new, some old – by Weelkes, Monteverdi, R. Nathaniel Dett, Ligeti, Messiaen, Britten, and Toronto-based composers Stephanie Martin, Sami Anguaya, Francesca Hauser, and Kai Leung.

Pay what you wish at the door ($40 suggested, $20 students).

Proceeds from Friends of Music concerts support both the artists and St. Thomas’s free music education program for children in grades 2 to 12.
