Silver Clay Workshop

Let’s take creativity to a new level!

Queen Gallery is organizing a silver clay workshop. You will be able to manipulate silver clay into making a beautiful pendant and other jewellery pieces. This will be the beginning of a fun journey into jewellery making using silver clay!

Silver Clay is a water-based clay made of pure silver powder and a binding agent. Through the workshop, you will learn to use your material and our tools and equipment to create your own uniquely designed piece of jewellery. The leftover material can be changed back to clay for future use.

Skill level: Beginner

Course outline: This 2-hour workshop with instructor Rokhsareh is a primer on all of the basics of the incredible medium of Art Clay Silver. This workshop will focus on two projects; a relief pendant and a stamped necklace.

We will torch projects in class.

All tools and equipment will be provided. Art Clay silver is available for purchase.

This class is limited to only 8 students to allow lots of personal attention.

Material: The material for this course must be bought (cash only) at the workshop; you will be able to purchase packs of 7 gram (27.4 CAD) or 10 gram Silver Clay paste (34.4 CAD) and 10 gram Silver ArtClay (36.5 CAD). You will not need more than two packages for this workshop, but you can purchase more and create more pieces! You will be able to reuse and recycle your material.

Let’s get crafty and make our own custom silver jewellery! This can be a perfect occasion to make a personal gift for a loved one!
