SEEDS OF TIME

Have we taken the streamlining of food production too far? Join us and the Toronto Vegetarian Association for a revelatory film, thought-provoking conversation and delicious vegan treats from local vendors as we delve into the history and future of how we feed ourselves.

Director Sandy McLeod will participate in a post-screening Skype Q&A to discuss what she has learned in the course of filmmaking about food and our responsibility to produce food sustainably.

Veg Food Fest has arranged for vegan bakery Through Being Cool, famous for their mouthwatering donuts, and vegetarian butcher YamChops, offering exciting and inventive alternatives to meat protein, to sell special treats at the screening.

$2 from every ticket goes to support healthy eating workshops at the Toronto Vegetarian Association, whose upcoming 32nd edition of Toronto's Veg Food Fest takes place September 9–11 at Harbourfront Centre.
