Spend your summer afternoons at The Deck at Clarence Square with a laid-back game of chess in the heart of downtown. Chess in the Park is back as part of our See You Downtown summer programming, bringing together friendly competition, music, and community vibes all season long.

In collaboration with Knightcap Chess Club, this series invites players of all levels to take part—whether you’re experienced, just learning, or simply curious to try. No registration required, just drop in and join a game.
