Poirier’s video has been the talk of the MMA world during a relatively quiet week in the sport. And middleweight champion Strickland seems to have found humor in his fellow athlete’s outburst with a new t-shirt he is wearing to train.

After watching the video of Dustin Poirier’s arrest, Sean Strickland took to social media to share his thoughts on the incident. He advocated for sobriety in a number of tweets replying to other fighters giving their two cents.

And he is now going viral in his own right for attending a training session wearing a t-shirt that appears to refer to a moment in the video. Posing for a photo with a number of female fighters at the UFC Performance Institute, Strickland’s shirt reads: “It’s gone be bad my n—–.”During the video of his arrest, Poirier can be seen threatening to fight the officer whose body cam is being used to film. He then utters the phrase, including the controversial slur, while shaping up for a potential altercation.

The viral photo of Strickland was shared by Veronica Hardy, who seemed to find humor in his involvement with a Women’s MMA training session. “@stricklandmma just keeps extending the time he has to coach Women’s MMA,” she wrote.
