Experience a night of timeless romance and symphonic drama exploring star crossed lovers with the Toronto Concert Orchestra. This unforgettable evening blends opera, symphonic masterpieces, and beloved contemporary hits for an evening of love in all its forms.

Conductors Sharon Lee and Marcus Scholtes lead an evocative program featuring iconic tales of star-crossed lovers. Tchaikovsky’s orchestral piece Romeo and Juliet and Puccini’s heartbreaking arias to Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet opera highlights make up the classical heart of this evening. Woven into the magic of the evening are orchestral renditions of modern classics like Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s Fortnight and music from Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 Romeo & Juliet film including Des’ree’s I’m Kissing You, and The Cardigans’ Lovefool. Featuring soprano Lynn Anoush Isnar and tenor Colin Ainsworth.
