Replay Story Fest
Replay Story Fest returns for its third edition, expanding to 10 days to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Replay Storytelling. Running April 10–19, 2026 at the Burdock Music Hall (1184 Bloor Street West), the festival features over 60 storytellers, musicians, poets, and artists across 17 shows.
The festival opens Friday, April 10 at 7:30 pm with Taken By Surprise—true stories of coincidences, curveballs, and a touch of chaos, featuring stories from Ava Val, Madhu Arora, Justin Shaw, Michael Salvatore, Michelle Marie, Paul Shanker de Tourreil, and Orly Zebak.
This year's lineup includes four solo productions: Arianne Shaffer remounts "A Lover Improper... Still", Fringe Festival veteran Al Lafrance brings his hit show "Is This Yours?" to Toronto, Montréal's Paul Shanker de Tourreil presents his award-winning "9 Lives, 8 Near-Misses: Life Lessons from Near-Death Events", and Toronto-local Zebulon Pike premiere's his debut storytelling show, "The Perp, The Victim and The Witness".
The festival also features collaborations with Queers in Your Ears, Anto Chan's InnerGenerational (with Janice Jo Lee and Hannia Cheng), The Story Collider, Listen to This!, and True Stories (Told Live) Toronto with Marsha Shandur.
Musical Musings returns, giving musicians space to share the stories behind their songs before performing them. This year we're psyched to feature Deanne Petcoff, Hunnah, and Ivana Popovic!
Seven workshops run across two weekends, hosted by Chantal Lim, Anto Chan, Paul Hutcheson, Christel Bartelse, Rico Rodriguez, Clare Nobbs, Jeffrey Canton, Paul Aflalo, and Al Lafrance.
All events are taking place at the Burdock Music Hall, with all shows live-streamed throughout the festival.
