“Who's going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow.”

Get your shovels and neon green reagents ready this October as we present one of the most hilarious and wildly original horror flicks of all time: RE-ANIMATOR!

Adapted from the H.P. Lovecraft tale of Herbert West: Re-Animator, this mind-bending, darkly funny, and extremely gory thriller was a breakout hit in 1985, establishing director Stuart Gordon as a force to be reckoned with. An homage to mad-scientist films of yore, Gordon’s gore-soaked debut feature stars a brilliant Jeffrey Combs as the hilariously deranged Herbert West, the new transfer student at Miskatonic University who spends his nights conducting ghoulish experiments in his basement, intent on perfecting a serum that can bring back the dead back to life.  It isn’t long before he’s revitalizing the dead cat of his roommate Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) and sneaking into the morgue for fresh human specimens. Featuring a larger-than-life performance from David Gale, as Dr. Hill, West’s chief rival and cult fave Barbara Crampton, RE-ANIMATOR is sheer madness from start to finish – delivering genuine shocks that build into an outrageous (and incredibly memorable) gore-drenched finale.

“ Simply the best, funniest Grand Guignol horror picture to come along in ages.” – Kevin Thomas, LA Times

“ This is one of the greatest films ever made. Period. It's outrageous, erotic, gory, jaw-dropping, genre-busting, shocking, and altogether exhilarating filmmaking.” – Brian Holcomb, PopMatters
