Join us on February 9, 2027, at Koerner Hall for Canada's first-ever showcase of female conductors. Hosted by Canadian literary treasure Ann-Marie MacDonald, Raising the Baton celebrates the remarkable achievements of the Women in Musical Leadership (WML) program and five incredibly talented artists changing the landscape of classical music in Canada and North America.

This celebratory 90-minute performance features Canada's most exciting up-and-coming conductors from Tapestry Opera's trailblazing national fellowship. Add a Reception ticket to get access to an exclusive post-show reception and an intimate celebration with the conductors.

All funds raised through tickets and donations go directly to sustaining the Women in Musical Leadership program, providing emerging conductors with mentorship and professional work placements in opera companies and orchestras across the country.
