QUEER ALT/POP @ RIVOLI with Candi Carpenter, Zee Machine, Kalie Shorr, Jenna DeVries

Join us on February 18th at Rivoli Toronto for an unforgettable evening as four critically acclaimed queer artists bring their raw energy to the stage for a cathartic, high-octane alt rock and pop experience. We’ve got BANGERS about trauma, drama, pterodactyls, situationships, witchy business, and queerness, all pan seared and served up fresh with more hooks than Peter Pan’s nemesis.

Performing Live:

Candi Carpenter (they/them) is an alt/pop artist whose songs explore themes of mental health and personal identity. An openly queer and autistic artist, Candi’s viral brand of confessional existentialism has swept across their corner of the internet. Their deeply personal approach has attracted a following of like-minded fans who have helped turn Candi’s shows into vibrant and inclusive spaces.

Zee Machine (he/they) is a pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. They were nominated for Breakout Musical Artists at the 2023 Queerties, named by The Advocate on their list of 7 queer artists changing the game, and reached the top 10 on the iTunes pop charts with their 2024 EP. Zee Machine and Bentley Robles co-headlined a tour earlier this year, selling out 200-250 cap venues in NYC, LA, Chicago, and Toronto.

Kalie Shorr (she/her) is a critically acclaimed recording artist, Gold-certified songwriter, and Webby nominated podcast host. Her blend of alternative rock, infused with the inspiration of classic singer-songwriters, has led to many accolades — including the New York Times naming her debut album Open Book the #7 Best Album of the year.

Jenna DeVries (she/her) is the cuntry rock diva you've been looking for. A finalist on American Idol and AGT, Jenna made her way from the tv screen to beyond, serving powerful vocals and lyrics that are sure to piss off your uncle Jerry from Florida.
