Once or twice a year we throw our own ritual of heaviosity. Thurs March 26th, PYRES invites VOLUR to join us for a night of sludgen riffery and hypnotic doom at the infamous Collision Bar. This legendary haunt is a den of rock n roll heathenry, and these two bands will rattle its storied walls in the first of what could become an ongoing heavy music curation.

2013 saw Colorado's Granite House Records release the debut LP 'Year Of Sleep'. We will be playing much, if not all of the record, as well as field testing new material.
VOLUR
In 2014 VOLUR self-released the 'Disir' cassette to the awe of anyone who happened upon it. Warm and crushing bass riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and electric violin so strange and powerful one ponders its under-utilization in doom. A truly imposing yet beautiful giant.
