Professionals Day Career Fair

The 15th annual CPAC Professionals Day is near! This is the largest career development events for professionally trained immigrants in the city, attended by over 1,000 internationally trained professionals, employers, and service providers from a wide range of industries across the GTA. The day will be filled with informative and practical workshops to help professionals develop new skills, gain further access to various careers, and stand out in their organizations.

OPENING KEYNOTE PRESENTATION

Professionals Day will open with a keynote presentation by CARL HAIM, Assistant Vice-President, Human Resources Consulting at Foresters Financial. Mr. Haim will be speaking on managing and resolving workplace conflict from a cultural perspective, providing real examples and practical solutions for employers and employees. Mr. Haim has worked for over thirty years as a senior generalist in Human Resources in organizations such as London Life, Deloitte Consulting, and TD Insurance Home and Auto. Mr. Haim is also a part-time Adult Instructor at Seneca College for in-class and online Business Management & Organizational Behaviour courses.

EXHIBIT HALL

If you’re on the job hunt, make sure to bring your resume! The exhibition area will feature employers looking to hire trained immigrants and young professionals. Some of the organizations who will be at Professionals Day to hire talent include the City of Toronto, TD Canada Trust, PwC, Bell Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, the Canadian Forces, Sun Life Financial, and Investors Group.

Professionals Day will also feature many professional service providers to help with your career development. There will also be a resume critique booth on site. Those looking for bridging or gateway programs to gain new credentials can visit our numerous education booths to learn more about continuing education.
