In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are excited to announce Powerful Women, an exhibition by Dutch artist Angèle Etoundi Essamba. The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Toronto and BMO are proud to co-present this stunning photo exhibition of the Amsterdam based artist.

Angèle’s specializes in producing captivating humanistic photography. Her work portrays African women, highlighting themes of pride, strength, and awareness.

Angèle’s photographic portfolio has earned recognition in various publications, and her works are housed in esteemed public collections such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Mephis Brooks Museum of Art, and the World Bank Art Program.

Powerful Women is making its Canadian debut at First Canadian Place in Toronto, in partnership with @brookfieldproperties and @BMO. The exhibit can be enjoyed free of charge March 12 – 29!
