Pollinator-Friendly Seed Saving Workshop

During this free workshop on seed saving, you’ll learn about some pollinator-friendly plants you can bring to your garden, along with how to collect and save the seeds they produce each year.

Share the seeds with friends, family, and neighbours to create even more pollinator habitat and spread the joy of native plant gardening around!

This workshop will have both an indoor and outdoor component; we’ll spend some time with the plants outside, then learn about seed processing and saving inside. You’ll even go home with some native plant seeds to get you started!

You do not need to have any experience or bring any tools or materials. Please dress for the weather in layers so you will be comfortable both indoors and outside.
