PechaKucha Toronto Edition 36, Exhibiting Collaboration: The Co-working Edition

PechaKucha Toronto is proud to present the 36th edition of PK nights here in Toronto — The Work Collaboratively Edition. We’re working in collaboration with The Crook Factory for the Design Offsite Festival.

Let's back up a second. PechaKucha is an event intended for creative types to meet and share their work. It runs in over 800 cities. PK Nights feature short presentations that take the form of 20 x 20 — that is, 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide. Thinking and drinking is a sort of tagline.

Expect short presentations from co-working spaces around the city. Get to know the story behind them & the impact founders are hoping to have on the city! Plus, Worker Bee Supply will be on site for pop-up portraits for fancier Linkedin profiles, or anything else.

Speakers include:

Alyssa Yuhas from Like Minds Studio

Rachel Kelly of Make Lemonade

Emily Rose Antflick of Shecosystem

Gracia Lam, Hugh Langis and Kassem Ahmed of The Station

and

Dimitri Kanaris of Ildsjel.

Details about the night:

Doors at 7pm.

Talks at 7:30pm.

Event ends at midnight.

There will be a cash bar!

Tickets are $10

Expect some fun surprises to come!
