Co-led by celebrated Métis fiddler Alyssa Katrine and JUNO-nominated and CFMA Award–winning Métis singer-songwriter Amanda Rheaume, Mâmawin’towin brings together an exceptional acoustic ensemble rooted in Métis musical tradition. The group has toured internationally, most recently performing at World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, as well as in Australia, sharing Métis music with global audiences.
Joined by acclaimed multi-instrumentalists Danton Delbaere-Sawchuk and Kyler Tapscott, the ensemble blends driving Métis fiddle tunes, rich vocal harmonies, and powerful storytelling inspired by Métis history and community.
Drawing on the warmth and spirit of a Métis kitchen party, their performances celebrate resilience, kinship, and the enduring vitality of Métis music.
